Filler

 Couple of items that can fill another post on the way to 200 for 2026. Think I qualify for the “Random Acts of Kindness” week at my favorite coffee shop? Earned a fun little badge from Apple for our walk on Saturday. Things continue to heat up as the vote gets closer for the West Greeley project. On an unrelated note, not many pictures from last week since I was in a 6 hour interview on Wednesday and two full days for the annual Greeley City Council retreat with City staff, the CMO and Council on Thursday and Friday. The kids stopped by for a few minutes to say hi and drop off a present to my favorite coffee shop listed above. A little more love from the ALLO page.

 Another trip around the sun. My parent’s little Valentine. Enjoyed a quiet and relaxing birthday weekend around Greeley. Drinks and dinner at some of my favorite spots on Friday. Saturday breakfast with Jen, the UNC Men’s Basketball home win over Portland State, and dinner with friends at the Tavern to close out the day. Grateful for so many calls, texts and messages from friends and family near and far. Already looking forward to my 50th, which will fall on Super Bowl Sunday! 

Ho-Hum

 Always tough to find good content during this time of year. Jen and I watched the Super Bowl, while sis opened her apartment up for an Opening Ceremony party with her friends. Andrew’s team won Knowledge Bowl!!! Attended an event in support of the GPO while Jen was celebrating Sarah’s birthday in Estes. Bella and I were treated to a beautiful sunrise on our morning walk (and a peacock on the roof!). 

Vibing

 Just vibing, making big plans, and voting on big things. Love our Greeley family, and miss SBX and Noah everyday. Weekend was busy, with a VIP reception for the Creative Arts District, a UNC Men’s home game, and Stars and Stripes Forever with OUR GPO. Sunday was a family meal day downtown at Andrew and Ari’s favorite place and a small fundraiser at 477 for W.H.A.L.E. Big things on the Council docket. Also a few catch-up photos from the Stampede Concert announcement party a few weeks ago.

 One month of 2026 down, 11 to go. Fairly typical week. Sadness in Colorado as the Broncos fell 10-7 in the AFC Championship. Longer than expected work session on Tuesday, running a little over 2 1/2 hours. Stopped in at a “NO ON 2A” event. Court side to see the UNC Men beat Idaho. Some love from the ALLO Facebook page. Summer concert season is heating up with the announcement that the Dave Matthews Band will stop in Colorado! 

Friends

 It sure was nice to get out of town after a long week and celebrate not 1, but 2 friends birthdays. Gathered in Ft. Collins for dinner then walked over to the Park Blocks for mini-golf! Fun night celebrating Bryan and Nate, losing at both golf and pop-a-shot, and being surrounded by laughs and stories. Cheers to the year ahead for both of you!
