Anytime you gather 1200 for dinner in Greeley it’s going to be a party! We welcomed Doug Gain to the AOTY Club. The steak was rare to maybe not even cooked. So many friends to connect with, take pictures with and celebrate with. Ended the night at 477 and lastly a walk to see Spooky.

Let’s Gala (Pt.1)
It’s already that time of year again! Yep, the annual Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce annual gala. This year’s theme was “Back to the Future.” We had two full tables of 20 ALLO folks that showed up STRONG! This is always one of my favorite nights of the year, and this year I decided to just attend and not work a shift as an Ambassador. Thanks to JoLean for the sashes.
Saturday
As events continued to get scheduled in late December and early January, I knew Saturday was going to be busy, and it didn’t disappoint. Started with our Rotary club’s Adopt a Highway clean up at 830. Great turnout of 13 people! Even found some cool stuff (thankful the needle was capped). After a stop at Sam’s Club, it was off to downtown Greeley for Freeze Dayz. After getting the booth set up and people in place, I headed to Cornhole Connections for a fundraiser for Arc of Weld County. Lowlight was getting shut out 21-0 to a team with a 10 year old that I threw against. Wrapped up the day with the UNC Men’s basketball team’s last home game of the season. ALLO sponsored a pre-game dinner with Greeley Lifestyle. Then watched the game courtside. Sadly, lost by 6. What a day!

Friday
A few pictures from the week that was. Our smallest Rotary meeting of the year so far, which was ok. Driving around. Some sort of festival in Portland. Phoffman to look forward to. A guy running security outside of YFC and making sure everyone stays safe. Vibing in the garage lounge while their men smoke and watch the NBA All-Star Game. Game time on a national holiday for teachers. Another day, another concert added to the calendar. Another trivia night at TightKnit in the books.

PMJ
Jennifer didn’t have to wait nearly as long this year to cash in her Christmas present. Over the weekend we made the drive to Estes Park for a one night stay at the Stanley Hotel, which was a first for us. We also had concert tickets for Postmodern Jukebox, as well as an invite to the private after party and speakeasy. It was a relatively nice day in Estes, so we walked around downtown before checking in. The show was pretty fun, with the opening song “Pour Some Sugar on Me.” Sadly, no posted setlist. Go check them out on You Tube!
