I had the privilege of being the Master of Ceremonies for the annual Boys and Girls Clubs of Weld County Dancing with the Stars last week at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. The event ended up raising over $60,000 to help fund the Clubs activities. It was fun to interview my friends Matt, Gii, JoLean and Melissa after their dances, and needle my judge friend Trent from Greeley Hat Works. Thanks to all that attended and donated their “votes.”

Quite a few other random pictures from the month that is July. Lots of ALLO events, friends, mini-adventures, and other shenanigans!
We really enjoyed the rest of our time in New Mexico. We got to see Jen’s high school, walked around downtown and stopped at the divest dive bar I’ve ever been in (cash only!), wandered into the Rail Yard for a Grateful Dead cover band, and wrapped up the weekend at one of the largest farmers markets I’ve ever seen.
Knocked off another Meow Wolf, this theme the “House of Eternal Returns.” I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. It was cool.
With only one free weekend all summer without either ALLO activities or other pre-schedule events, Jen and I made a quick jaunt to Santa Fe. Besides the heat, it was a fun trip, and nice to see some different places other than downtown Greeley and Highway 85. We stopped in Taos fro lunch before making our way to our VRBO, which turned out to be in the neighborhood Jen lived in for her junior and senior year of high school. We walked around the art district downtown to shake out the 6 hours in the car. Big plans for Friday!
