Made a quick overnight trip to Breckinridge this week to connect with our office and make several more business connections. We walked through the snow sculpture event while it was being constructed (expecting 8-10K people this weekend). I also dropped off some PR bags for local businesses. Cute office!
Ah, the January doldrums…It has been cold and snowy (6-8 inches on Wednesday and a snow day!) this month in the dirty G. Driving home last night reminded me of life in Laramie in the winter-cold, dark, snow on the ground, light breeze. Spent all day yesterday at the NoCo Powerlifting Open repping the brand. It was a cool experience, and one that I wouldn’t have normally attended. There were so many memories of time spent in that gym over the years with my friend and workout buddy Tom and Sarabeth.
If its the second Wednesday of the month, it must be time for another Greeley Mob Mixer! This month we were hosted by the Boomer House. The owner, Amy, and turned it into a beautiful gathering place to play board games! We had a great turnout once again, so thanks to everyone that keeps turning out for some networking fun!
We were trying to do something nice and under the radar for NCYFC last week. Pre-pandemic, we would bring dinner once a month to the staff at the skate park between the middle chocoholic and high school kids. Now that Than and Ruthie are working there, we decided to start up the “meal ministry” again. It was nice that they posted on Facebook, but then my friend tagged me in it, and well, there went the under the radar part.

Look who is champion once again! It is a bittersweet championship…I was going to win pretty handily anyways, but then there was the Hamlin injury on Monday Night Football and the game was postponed then canceled. The #1 seed I was playing had probably the worst FF game of the season. But guess what? It doesn’t matter! CHAMPION. I pick up the traveling trophy on Super Bowl Sunday,
Sarabeth has found a new friend who happens to be a guy. They have been spending quite a bit of time together over the holidays, including a trip to the ocean to visit his grandparents. They also stopped by Zoo Lights before Christmas. Hope to meet Gabe someday soon!
Welcome to blog post #1 of 2023. I’m thrilled that the blog will celebrate 15 years later this summer. We had a busy NYE…present exchange and a few cold ones at Crabtree with the Wood family…dinner with the Welch’s…a get together at Barnhart’s with a few other couples while watching the Ohio State game…and closing out the night at the Tavern with Andrew and his group!
