Homeward Bound

Made a decision to take a quick trip to Laramie to see mom and spend the weekend at home. Lots of snow up here. Glad the roads opened.

BBH

Before the bomb cyclone hit yesterday morning, I trudged my way of to Cellular One and the Greeley Chamber Business Before Hours. It was a good turnout for such a crummy morning. We were rewarded with Panera sandwich’s, coffee and connection with other business professionals.

P D T

I don’t know what the Greek letters are, but here is Noah with his new brothers up at PSU. If you are interested, here is the website: https://www.phideltatheta.org/
Enjoy! And congrats Noah.

Library

One of my 2019 goals, which I have and haven’t posted here yet, is to begin spending more time in my library on a weekly basis. I’ve been successful these past few weekends, by sneaking in about an hour or so each Sunday afternoon. It’s been nice. I’m even reading a little more (another 2019 goal is to finish 20 books. I’m at 2). I even had company on Sunday.

One More

Here is another great picture from the Evans Chamber dinner on Saturday. These are my friends Jeremy and Ashley. Great people, successful business owners and a Frontier family to boot!

Board Meeting

I’m beginning my second year as a board member on the Evans Chamber. We have our monthly meeting on the first Thursday of every month. My friend Travis just joined us this month. Which one of these two guys look like they are having more fun???

Evans Chamber

Last night was the 35th annual Evans Chamber of Commerce banquet. It was fun to spend the evening with many of the best business professionals in the Evans community. Even took a silly selfie with the City Manager to send to my friend Roy, the Greeley City Manager.

OKC

At least one of our family members got out of Colorado for spring break.  Sis is spending a few days with Jim and Janet at their new home in Oklahoma City. Today was the zoo and gambling. Glad you are having fun sis. Come home soon...the cats are hungry.

Chamber

Nathanael has his final orchestra concert for the year on Thursday night. He and the Chamber just killed it. All the practice is paying off. He was also awarded a 1 with honors for their small groups performance at a competition 2 weeks ago which is the highest honor a group can receive. Here is  a screen shot from the Facebook Live video I did so grandma could watch.

Leads

Another great Friday leads group at the Greeley Chamber. I think we had 18 business professionals attending again today. I’ve written a fair amount of business from this group. Helps I’m the only P&C agent that regularly attends.

Rotary

Another great Rotary meeting today at the Country Club. Today’s program was on the Poudre Learning Center. Lunch wasn’t too bad either! Makes up for those cold cuts they fed us a few weeks ago.

Memories

Here I was 6 years ago today. That chemo sure sucked, didn’t it?

Bears

With Andrews official acceptance into UNC, Jen and I picked up some new swag at the bookstore last week. I think we look pretty great. Go Bears!

Celebration

Tonight we celebrated Eve’s acceptance into UNC and the drama education program. We are so proud of her and the fact she will be staying in Greeley this fall. Off to Right Coast Pizza!

Dance

Sarabeth had her last dance of middle school last night. She invited a few girlfriends over to get ready before the dance, then posed for pictures before mom drive them to the dance. I picked them up, then waited outside Qdoba for over an hour while they ate. Great picture of sis with her older brother!
