It was a pretty good day yesterday. Jen made a nice breakfast after I got home from work. Had a few cards to open from Jen, the kids and the folks. Then it was time to hang with the guys, something I just don't get to do much. It's crazy how once a kid gets a car and a job and a girlfriend, you just don't see them much. So we started at Wiley Roots for beer, root beer and Wing Shack! Then the craziness started. We decided we needed donuts in the worst way. So it was off to Denver for a stop at VooDoo! Noah decided we didn't need to run the AC in his car because the windows were fine. It was 101 outside when we arrived at The Tattered Cover for a bathroom break, air conditioning and a new book! Then east on Colfax to VooDoo! It was pretty lively on that side of Colfax since the gay pride rally/parade had just ended in Civic Center Park. Lots of rainbows and spandex. Finally back to Greeley, still with no AC, for a dinner at Taco Bell. A great day, indeed.

Dad
Happy Father's Day dad! I hope you enjoyed your day with your oldest grand daughter! She is so lucky to have a grandpa like you. And I'm so lucky that I have a dad like you. Thanks for all you do day in and day out for mom, your South Dakota family and your Colorado family. I'm so thrilled we were finally able to catch a game at Coors Field together. I am proud to be your son. Let's have a catch real soon.

Camp
After a quick week at home, Sarabeth whisked away to Wyoming for a week at Grandma and Grandpa Roths Summer Camp 2015. She has been a busy girl up there the last few days! A bike tune-up was in order to begin the week. Sarabeth requested a trip to the Wyoming Territorial Prison Park to continue to explore her favorite subject of history. She also walked through the Ivanson Mansion with grandma to learn more about the featured speaker at the Tea on Tuesday next week. Of course a lunch out and some ice cream while shopping downtown made the agenda. And now that summer is here in full force, a trip to the swimming pool rec center. She is also working on finishing the Harry Potter series before school starts!

W.K.A.
That would be With Kids Away, for those of you scoring at home. While the kids were all away for 8 days, my favorite middle school teacher and I were able to do a few adult things. We had a nice dinner out, thanks to a gift card she received from one of her students. We toured Dancing Pines Distillery in Loveland. We joined several other couples for Geeks Who Drink trivia at WeldWerks Brewing. Jen was able to finish a couple of books for fun instead of for work! And Big Andrew made another appearance in Greeley, as he prepares to begin a new job here in town. We finished the week with the trip to the Rockies game with the folks. Pretty good 8 days!
More Arkansas
There were several more pictures posted from the missions trip this week. I don't have much backstory to any of them, but hopefully it highlights a few of the activities on the trip. Thanks again to everyone who supported the guys, financially and prayerfully.

Rockies
We finally had the chance yesterday to get the folks to a game at Coors Field. After and hour and a half rain delay, the game finally got underway about 330. Dad and I had the good seats in the front row! Mom and Jen had the seats with the view in section 300 behind home plate. There are pictures looking down at us and me waving and me looking up at them. You can sort of see moms teal fleece. During the rain delay, we took some pics with Dinger at the Clubhouse store. Then, in the middle of the 6th inning, they showed the Belmont Stakes on the Jumbotron. We were able to witness American Pharaoh win the Triple Crown!! Then back to the game. Rockies almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, before winning 10-5. Go team.

Carnival
Last night was the culmination of the week of outreach in and around Charokee Village. The church hosted a carnival for the kids in the surrounding communities. Unfortunately there was a monster storm that rolled through. Haven't heard yet how things turned out. But it appears that Little Andrew was ready.
On a side note, Noah was in charge of the weed wacker most of the week. It looks like the weed wacker won the final round. The picture of Noah looking thrilled was from the water ride last Saturday. He was the only one who got wet.
The team disembarks today for two long days in the car before arriving back in Greeley late Sunday. Can't wait to hear all the stories!

Success!
The spoken word has finally reached Colorado from the Ozarks! Noah had cell phone reception and was able to make a quick call home this morning. Things are under control in Arkansas. He hasn't seen Andrew or Nathanael much, since they are all in different work groups doing various projects. But he said they are surviving and learning a lot. Amy also sent a few pictures from the last couple of days. And least it doesn't look too terribly hot and humid. I'll continue to keep everyone posted and thanks for your prayers!
