Andrew did the one on the left with the cross and Nathanael did the funny face. Then the carving knives broke.

Carving!
Kids getting crazy at home with the pumpkins and carving knives we got yesterday. Can't wait to see what their little minds come up with!
Brady Quinn??
Going from bad to worse here in Denver, with the Lions winning 38-3 after three quarters. I don't think even Tebow could bring us back at this point. People starting to ask for Orten. Or Quinn. Or Elway. Or a win.
Halftime
Going to need some Tebow magic in the second half. Broncos down 24-3. The Gumby fan and the mohowk Broncos fan and his wife might have been ejected. I'll keep you posted. The Birthday girl is having fun with her teacher friend Stacy and her husband Rob.
End of 1st
Almost more action in the section next to us then on the field. The Lions fan in the gummy suit almost boxed the Broncos fan in the wig and suspenders. That is his wife in the orange giving the Lions fans the hand. Oh, by the way, Denver down 7-3.
Meanwhile...
Back at the homestead our favorite babysitter is keeping the kids busy with lots of Halloween activities. Pumpkins to follow??
Gametime!!
Tebow time baby! An amazingly beautiful Colorado fall day for some NFL football. Thankful to be enjoying the game today with Mrs. Roth on her 36th birthday. Go Broncos!

The Group
Sadly Noah decided not to come along on the hunt after his all night video game/movie night with his friends. The six of us still had a fun but chilly time, and scored six amazing pumpkins that were locally grown.
Mrs. Roth
Jen even found a pumpkin that she liked! The real pretty sweater she is wearing was an early birthday present from her husband in case you were wondering.
Haunted
Sarabeth tries to decide whether or not to walk through the little haunted house. She decided to and wasn't scared at all!
Looking
Not letting the cold and wind interfere with the search for the perfect pumpkin, Andrew and Nathanael survey the scene.
Pumpkins!
At the local pumpkin patch this afternoon getting pumpkins for the gang to carve tomorrow while we are at the football game. It was probably a bit warmer here last weekend. Oh well, at least the snow is melting and the wind is only blowing 25 mph.

World Series
Nathanael and I are enjoying game 7 of the World Series tonight. He decided to get out his card collection and see if he has any players playing tonight. Only a guy named Albert. I told him he might want to hold onto that one.

Hula-Hoop
Nathanael and his friend Brock competing in the hula-hoop pass game. Quite a few very creative costumes on the kids tonight covering every decade since the 1960's.
Little D
He decided to dress as the default character setting on the video game Mindcraft. He is the only kid here dressed as that.
Nathanael
It's already time once again for the Frontier Academy 2011 Costume Ball! Could get crazy over the next couple hours.

3:20 PM
The building of the forts continue, with a rival fort now springing up at the southeast corner of our yard. Can a war be too far behind? And yes, that is Little Andrew's foot in the foreground.
2:20 PM
UNC is closed today too so Big Andrew stopped by for a cup of coffee and to chat. Noah even made an appearance from the basement long enough to eat lunch.
Snowfort!
Done with the shoveling and knocking snow off of all the tree branches. Thankfully we only lost one branch on our trees. Now the kids are starting on what might turn out to be a pretty neat fort in the front yard. Sledding this afternoon maybe?
$1
That is how much Little Andrew asked me to pay him for shoving 14 inches of snow off the driveway. I'd say that's a bargin.
Snow Day!!
Kathy Sabin on 9news was right and Ryan Roth was wrong. We got slammed with a foot of snow or more overnight. Thus, District 6 called a snow day!! So we are all at home together today. Should be fun!

Bragging
We received Noah's first quarter report card in the mail today. Looks like he has basically mastered the seventh grade. Of course there was that big red T that he received. Better talk to the Monday morning car pool driver Mrs. Roth....

11
Happy 11th birthday to my favorite second born son. I am so proud of you and the amazing young man you are becoming. Keep laughing, never lose your love of fresh veggies, and keep playing piano! I love you Little D!

"And He set me on fire..."
Made another trip to Denver Friday night, not to join the Occupy Denver protest, but to attend one of the final shows ever of the David Crowder Band. After 11 years of playing music together, they announced earlier in the year that this would be their final tour. Jen and I were joined by several of her teacher friends for a wonderful evening of classic Crowder. They played old stuff, new stuff, and even "Carol of the Bells" during their encore. The sold out Filmore loved all two hours of their set, singing, clapping and worshipping along with DCB.

Banquet
We were able to attend the season ending cross-country banquet tonight at Frontier. Thanks to the coaches for the great job they did with the team this year. The middle school boys won their last meet of the year last Friday!

Kaleb
I'm not a proud uncle or anything. What an amazing, beautiful, happy little boy. I miss him a lot already.

Uncle Ryan
Finally a picture of Uncle Ryan and his new nephew. Enjoying breakfast in Sturgis before we hit the road back to snowy Colorado. Just an amazing, beautiful, perfect little boy. I can't believe he is finally here.

Noah!
We finally talked Noah into holding Kaleb. He was afraid he would hurt him since he hasn't had much practice holding 6 month olds!
Little D
Another cousin holding Kaleb. He is a lucky little boy to have so much family that will give him so much love.
Cousins
Nathanael is currently choosing to hold his new cousin over eating fresh Pizza Hut pizza. Quite a celebration in Sturgis tonight!

Sarabeth also had a great night. After she got her fill of snacks and soda she decided to help too. For those that know Sarabeth know she is a shy, timid, quiet little wall flower. She made a sign and walked the halls of the crowded high school yelling for people to come to Mrs. Roth's table. It helped too! Who can say no to a cute little 7 year old?
Sugar!!
The high school/middle school building hosted the second annual Taste of Frontier on Tuesday night. Each homeroom class had a table and offered a different "taste" such as nachos, pop, cake, cookies, coffee, pancakes, ect. Jen's class decided on fondue with various fruits and crackers to dip in it. Each taste cost several tickets, with all the money raised going to that classes choose charity. Jen and her group raised $135!!
Nathanael had a great night too...almost unlimited sugar delivery systems with very limited parental supervision. Those are several cereal necklaces around his neck with a Dr. Pepper in hand.
