3 1/2 months. That’s how long we went without a dog, after Baxter crossed the Rainbow Bridge in March. Jen has been working diligently and doing extensive research into our new family member. Two weeks ago we were alerted to a litter of puppies that had been born at Big Bones Rescue in Windsor. We visited on Sunday morning and the little one captured our hearts. After much discussion, we chose Bella, short for Murabella, a character introduced in the fifth Dune book. Jen has been busy (and tired) this week helping Bella get adjusted to her new life. So here she, Bella, a beautiful Husky mix, and newest member of our family:
