Shelley’s 50th

The gang traveled all the way to downtown Ft. Collins over the weekend to help our good friend Shelley celebrate her 50th birthday. We were scheduled to do a walking mystery game based on the Wizard of Oz. The group made it through about half the game before we made the mistake of stopping for ice cream and beers. And then we never left. Until it was time to drive to Reubens for dinner. Happiest of birthdays, my friend. Cheers to the year ahead.

Dirty Heads- The Show

Dirty Heads put on a fantastic show, performing 20 songs in a little under 90 minutes (what’s up with bands closing the shows at 1030???). I got to hear all the songs I wanted, except “Live Your Life.” Coach and I danced, took silly pictures, and sang along. Had some fun seat mates from Delaware and California. Home in bed at 12:02am!

Dirty Heads- Pregame

Let’s go to Red Rocks for our third concert there this year! This time Coach Wood and I made the pilgrimage to Morrison for the kick-off of the Dirty Heads summer tour. Always lots of fun and shenanigans before, durning and after the show. I enjoyed getting everyone’s attention while we were on the stairs waiting to go in and I lead everyone in singing happy birthday to two ladies that were there celebrating. Then the doors opened and the mad rush was on!

Walkin’

Just a few sights from my morning walks the last week or so. I keep earning some Apple Watch awards, while having the privilege of experiencing the sun dawning on another day. Don’t ever take your health for granted, folks. Goal this quarter is 20,000 points on the ALLO Virgin Pulse app and to average 10,000 steps per day. Keep going, Ryan!

Let’s Stampede

If it’s the end of June and beginning of July, it must be time for the Greeley Stampede! Jen and I made it down on Saturday night to sit on the sponsor patio and have a few drinks. Nathanael and Ruthie made the trek Sunday for Faith and Family night and were able to use the sponsor patio tickets. A few more trips scheduled before it wraps up on Sunday, July 7.
