It was, surprise surprise, a very busy and very fulfilling weekend. The adventures started on Friday with the Future Teachers at UNC (see below), followed by a trip to Brighton. ALLO is the presenting sponsor for the Richard Lambert Foundation, a local community grief center. They hosted a very intimate thank you dinner for their board, sponsors and community members. I was able to speak for a few minutes on the importance of having a place to grieve after losing mom and dad.
Saturday was “Our Blue Marble,” presented by the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. We enjoyed the evening downtown with our friends and celebrated some incredible music. Sunday was a day of rest and a movie at the Kress, “Poor Things.”
